amazin location, totally stunning castle with great facilities. staff were super friendly and helpful. the food was absolutely delicious! we had the 8-course dinner and it was a culinary masterpiece. our room was really cozy and comfy. It had great views!
only downside was the lack of clear signs to find the castle and the check-in process was a bit awkward since there isn't a reception area.

The culinary delights at Mingary Castle are sublime, with an 8-course meal that’ll make your taste buds dance! The stunning views and impeccable service add to the experience, making it unforgettable. If you’re a fan of fine dining, you’ll feel right at home here.
While the castle’s stairs may be a workout, it still adds to the charm. Just a heads-up that it might not be the easiest spot for the elderly or disabled, but that’s part of the castle character, innit?

Stunning location right by Kilchoan pier. The castle itself is beautifully restored with cozy and comfortable rooms. The staff offered phenomenal service throughout my stay. The food definitely impressed me. I tried the 8-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece. Breakfast options were also top-notch. I had some trouble figuring out the shower settings, which could use clearer instructions. One odd thing in the meal was the inclusion of bread as one of the courses in the tasting menu. While it was delicious bread, it felt a bit out of place. Still, the overall atmosphere and dining experience were very intimate and special, making it a memorable stay.
